• Background downloading (iOS 26+): feel free to switch off the app while your downloads (and library refresh) complete.
• Download compression: downloading should now be significantly faster and result in less storage usage by default, and you can now export downloaded chapters as cbz files.
• Automatic backups: Aidoku can now schedule periodic backups in the background just in case something happens and you need to restore old data.
• Built•in Kavita source and tracker (just like Komga).
• New search tab: redesigned look, now with filter options and search history.
• Local files improvements: metadata can now be parsed from ComicInfo.xml files (and downloads from other sources now save this).
• Download badges: see how many downloaded chapters you have, next to the unread badge.
• Many bug fixes: various iPadOS issues, Komga PDF pages, download crashes, auto tracking logic, etc.
